We always love eating Paneer dishes and Matter paneer is a common favorite of a lot of Indians around the world. So here is a quick recipe guide on how to cook Mouthwatering Mattar Paneer dish for everyone at home.
500 grams of green peas, around 300 grams of Paneer, 2 onions, 5-6 cloves garlic, 1 tbsp grated ginger, 2 green chilies, 250gms / 1/2 lb tomatoes (peeled and sliced), Salt To Taste,
1 tablespoon of turmeric powder, coriander seeds, Garam masala powder, 300-400 ml of water, 1 small cup of ghee, Chopped coriander leaves.
Grind half the onions, the garlic and coriander seeds and make them into a paste. Pick up a medium sized Frying pan and add ghee into it for frying. Cut the paneer into small cubes. Fry the paneer slightly so that they turn light brown. Add the remaining onion with ginger into the frying pan and wait till they turn golden brown. Then add the turmeric powder with the paste mixture and fry them well.
Then finally add the peas and the paneer with the chillis, tomatoes and salt into it. Cook them up for around 5 minutes on low to medium heat. In the end pour in the required quantity of water into it and simmer gently for around 15-20 minutes. Add the Garam masala in the end as per your taste…
And there you are… Mouthwatering Mattar Paneer is ready for your meal.
