If you love eating biryani and you eat eggs, then egg biryani is a must for you. Our tasty Indian Egg Biryani is simply awesome to have.
Approx 20ml of ghee, 6-8 large eggs, 1-2 onions, 3-4 flakes garlic, 3-4 tomatoes, 1 brown Cardamom, 3-4 green cardamom, 2 bay leaves/
1/2 tsp turmeric powder and tsp chili powder or to taste
Approx 200-250 grams of Basmati Rice.
Salt To Taste
1 spoon of garam masala powder and 1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
To start with, heat up the oil in a deep sauce pan and side by side cut the onions into small pieces and fry them with garlic and also add the bay leaves, cinnamon and cardamoms. Keep frying them until they turn dark brown. Also boil the eggs in a saucepan. Now break the eggs into small pieces and add them to the sauce pan.
Add the turmeric and chili powder and fry it for about 4-5 minutes. Also add the pre-soaked rice into the pan and stir them slowly for around 2-3 minutes. Now pour in the water and add salt as per taste. Cook over at moderate heat for around 10 more minutes till the water is almost finished. Finally sprinkle garam masala powder over it and add the chopped coriander and tomato slices over it and there you are Tasty Indian Egg Biryani is ready to be served hot.
